PPE employed us to provide an independent professional review of the Blackburn site compliance with PUWER. The brief from the client was: We have approx. 420 assessments and need a fresh pair of eyes to verify these are adequate and sufficient. The output I expect to be some kind of gap analysis for improvements. This could be large or small, depending on your findings. Our consultant spent a number of days on-site looking through all of the assessments and looked at whether they passed the test of being suitable and sufficient. From this a detailed report was provided to senior management along with a suggested action plan to address any gaps identified.
